Trains in Japan (for people who want to know Japan)

Unfortunately, the train is delayed a couple of minutes for some reason. In this case, you have a right to be frustrated. Unfortunately, the train is delayed a couple of minutes for some reason. In this case, you have a right to be frustrated. We take it for granted that trains should arrive on time, though we rarely snap at the train staff members or blame them for the delay harshly.

“Ladies and gentlemen, there was an accident on the railroad resulting in death. We have to keep you waiting for a while. We sincerely apologize for causing you trouble.” or “The train bound for XX will arrive a few minutes behind the schedule. We are terribly sorry.” You would sometimes hear such an announcement on the platform.

Actually, my train was delayed a few minutes the other day. Hearing the announcement briefing the delay, I got irritated a little bit secretly. Am I strict?

Info about IFRS

Below this post, you see three ads by Google. One of them may be zeiken which is very helpful to you for knowing the latest news about Accounting. Not to mention they take up issues about IFRS, International Financial Reporting Standards. I sometimes go to the website in the office. Don’t ask me whether or not I can understand all of the contents.

How much effect does “transcription” bring to English learners?

I felt a waste of time and tired.

What do you think of transcription for your language study? Should I resume transcribing English if I want to improve my listening ability? Or doesn’t it matter much even if I try hard to transcribe English?

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think that there is a rosy road to master a language. That being said, if there were an easy way to use English like a native English speaker, I’d definitely want to know the secret. That sounds like I am lazy.
